"Juliette Jourdain is a young French photographer based in Paris, specializing in the art of portraiture and staging. It is in a studio setting that her models give themselves up to her in whimsical and sophisticated poses. Her inspirations are numerous, but above all they come from drawing, which she has been practicing since she was a child, as well as from the cinema and music with the extravagance of Tim Burton and Lady Gaga. In addition to the construction of surrealist settings, her self-portraits, for their part, are oriented towards the creation of characters oscillating between fantasy and elegance and question the representation of women in contemporary society."
